社殿は見事な造りで羽柴秀吉の播磨攻めの際は杉の御神木から大蛇が出たので秀吉が捨て置けと言い焼き討ちを免れたとの逸話があります
氏子の皆さんが定期的に管理しているので境内もきれいに清掃されていますよ
