足	足立賢治 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通称御熊神社。正式名は、阿太賀都健御熊命神社（あだかつたけみくまのみことじんじゃ）。祭神は、天穂日命の子。日本書紀によれば、葦原中国平定のため、派遣された天穂日命が、三年経っても帰ってこないので、その子の大背飯三熊大人（おおそびのみくまのうし）、別名・武三熊之大人を遣わしたがこれも、父神同様、帰って来なかったとある。その大背飯三熊大人が、当社祭神である御熊命。当社周辺には、玄武岩の柱状節理が多く産出しており、祭神は、隠岐へ渡ろうと、一夜で石橋を築いたという伝説が残り、当社は、その石が捨て置かれたところという。柱状節理が産するため、当社は柱大明神とも呼ばれていた。 Commonly known as Okuma Shrine.
