★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 伊勢本街道から北に上がった住塚山の南麓にある神社。祭神は木花之佐久夜姫命、熊野久須毘命、伊邪那岐命。近隣に集落はないので氏神さんといった感じはしません。住塚山の南麓の平坦部が神武天皇の宮城（みやしろ）だったと考える人もいて、そうするとこの熊野神社は神武天皇と何らかの関係があったのかと思います。近年、車道から参道に入る場所に立派な石碑が置かれ、車で本殿前まで迷わず上がれるようになりました。それでも私はgナビの案内の方を信じてしまい、山の中をさまよう羽目になりました。やはり石碑の所から上がるべき。駐車場は10台くらいは停められそう。トイレあり。
本殿をよく見ると、軒下にカラスのような細工物がありました。これは八咫烏なのでしょうか。分かる方がいらしたら教えてください。
 A shrine at the southern foot of Mt. Sumizuka, which rises north from the Ise Honkaido. The deities are Konohanasakuya Himemei, Kumanokusubi Bimei, and Izanagimei. There are no villages in the neighborhood, so I don't feel like Ujigami. Some people think that the flat part at the southern foot of Mt. Sumizuka was the Miyagi of Emperor Jimmu, so I wonder if this Kumano shrine had something to do with Emperor Jimmu. In recent years, a magnificent stone monument has been placed at the entrance to the approach from the driveway, and it has become possible to drive up to the main shrine without hesitation. Even so, I believed in the g-navigation guide and ended up wandering in the mountains. After all it should go up from the stone monument. About 10 cars can be parked in the parking lot. There is a toilet.
If you look closely at the main shrine, you will find a crow-like work under the eaves. Is this Yatagarasu? Please let me know if anyone can understand it.
