八合神社の近く昔の道路だと熊野神社前から
八合神社にかけて直線で結ぶ道があった様だ
付近一帯は雑木林で林の中にある神社だった
ブロック塀に囲われた敷地に石鳥居と妻入り
春日造りの社殿がある
内部の様子は不明だが恐らく覆い屋
末社が一つあるが祭神は不明
古泉村熊野社泉乗寺持と風土記に書かれている
神社がここかもしれない
明治の合祀政策にて八合神社は近隣３９社を
合祀したとあるがここが残っているのは謎
一部合祀に応じなかった社もあるとの話で
ここもその一つだったのかもしれない
