4月下旬から5月にかけて、お寺周辺の花が綺麗に咲き誇ります。
かつて、松代藩8代藩主真田幸貫が善光寺地震後の領内巡視の際、ここで2泊したという史実もあります。
 It is a temple of the Shingon sect Toyoyama school, also known as Hanaji.
From late April to May, the flowers around the temple are in full bloom.
There is also a historical fact that Yukitsura Sanada, the 8th feudal lord of the Matsushiro feudal clan, stayed here for two nights during a patrol of the territory after the Zenkoji earthquake.
