★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここからが金刀比羅宮のエリアとなります、かつての名物だった籠に乗って来られるのはこちらまででした、門は1650年に高松藩主の松平氏の寄進により建てられた二重入母屋造りです、規模、時代的な古さからいえば、国指定重要文化財になってもおかしく無いとは思うが、何故か未指定、後世の改変が著しいのだろうか？
門の内側では、金刀比羅宮に特別の功があった五人の子孫の方が、境内での商売を認められて、五人百姓と呼ばれる飴屋を営んでいますが、コロナ禍による参拝客減の為か、二軒しか、お店が出てません
This is the area of Kotohiragu Shrine, which was the only place where you could get on the basket, which was once a specialty. It's a structure, and considering the scale and age, I think it's okay to become a nationally designated important cultural property, but why is it undesignated and the changes in posterity are significant?
Inside the gate, five descendants who had a special merit at Kotohiragu Shrine are allowed to do business in the precincts and run a candy store called Gonin Baixing, but due to Corona There are only two shops, probably because of the decrease in worshipers.

すぐ横に公衆トイレがあります。
一番上まで行くのが辛い人も、せめてここまではがんばってのぼると、「こんぴらさんに来た」って思い出になると思います。

There is a public toilet right next to it.
Even if you have a hard time getting to the top, if you do your best to this point, you will remember that you came to Kompira-san.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 階段が長く続きますが、参道に沿って並んだお店を見ながら進むとそれほど疲れませんでした。大門は素晴らしく大門前からの参道の眺めも良かったです。
The stairs continue for a long time, but I wasn't too tired when I went while looking at the shops lined up along the approach. Daimon was wonderful and the view of the approach from the front of Daimon was also good.

写真は2015年2月のものです。コロナ禍前は大変賑わっていました。ここまで来ても、まだ半分くらいです。ここからの見晴らしは最高です。

The photo is from February 2015. It was very busy before the Corona disaster. Even if I come here, it's still about half. The view from here is the best.
