★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神社の案内板にかってはここに領主の舘があったらしい。伝え話しでは今では想像もできないが社殿の裏側は高坂古墳群の一つで谷底、南側は崖、北側道路は堀に囲まれていたらしい、現在駐車場になっているが堀があった。今でも境内に土塁が残る。ただ、正面石碑側の遺構はよくわからない。

Although it can't be imagined nowadays, there is a moat on the back of the shrine, which seems to have been surrounded by a moat on the valley bottom, a cliff on the south side and a moat on the north side. The earthwork still remains in the precincts. However, the remains of the front stone monument are unknown.
