★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 以前は武者絵の看板と案内標でしたが、最近建立された安倍一族鎮魂碑と九輪塔が有ります。
この辺一帯は、１１世紀半ばに「奥六郡」と呼ばれた北上川中流域を支配した安倍頼時・貞任父子の拠点だったと伝えられます。
朝廷の威に服さなくなった安倍氏を討伐するため、源頼義・義家を派遣し此の地で九年に及ぶ戦いが行われた。（前九年の役）
追いつめられた安倍氏は岩手県北部、厨川柵まで敗走し力尽きて一族は滅びた。
安倍一族が拠点とした遺跡と伝えられる場所が、数多く残る此の地に鎮魂碑が建てられた様です。
It used to be a signboard and guide sign for a samurai painting, but there is a recently built Abe clan requiem monument and a nine-wheeled tower.
It is said that this area was the base of Abe no Yoritoki and Sadato's father and son who ruled the middle reaches of the Kitakami River, which was called "Oku Rokugun" in the middle of the 11th century.
Minamoto no Yoriyoshi and Yoshiie were dispatched to subdue Mr. Abe, who was no longer in the power of the imperial court, and a nine-year battle was fought here. (The role of the previous nine years)
Mr. Abe, who was cornered, routed to the kitchen fence in the northern part of Iwate prefecture and exhausted his power, and the clan was destroyed.
It seems that a requiem monument was erected in this place where many places that are said to be the ruins based on the Abe clan remain.
