There are 2 tables at the counter for about 5 people in the store, so I think it's definitely better to make a reservation.

The chef speaks English a little and there are some non-oden menus but mostly oden. I'm not a fan of oden so it's not really a place I'd go often though.

Offering excellent Japanese sake, the most delicious oden I've ever hard, and even some dishes from Okinawa, you will be impressed. The chef even speaks English and is very willing to explain the preparation of meals and offer suggestions. But call before you come, it's almost always full so a reservation is a must.
