★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo. The curry udon here is fantastic. I definitely recommend getting the beef curry udon with cheese. Regular spiciness is good. Always friendly staff. There can be a queue during lunch time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A definite must try for folks looking for delicious udon! Known for their curry udon (which is delicious), I favor their traditional udon soup with fried tofu. They have various options of add ins (sometimes I go for the egg, tofu, and wakame) depending on how you’re feeling. English menu friendly. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typically long waiting lines at this popular curry udon restaurant. People come from far away to eat here as well as locals. The udon here is sanuki style as the owner is from that area of Japan. The dashi used in the curry gives a very distinct flavor to other curry udon restaurants. They also use special spices from an old Kyoto spice company. I have cravings from time to time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good curry udon noodles restaurant in Meguro station area. It is using Niboshi (small dried sardines) soup stock which is traditional one for udon noodles. So you can feel a distinct flavor from its soup even in strong curry taste. It also serves normal udon noodles which is nice too. There’s a queue sometimes for lunch and dinner.
