★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 二の丸から本丸に向かう道の左側が「南丸」。南丸は二の門の上を渡って二の丸につながっており、三の門から二の門前の守りを固めている。高さ約3メートルの石垣は、織豊時代に特徴的な野面石積みであるが、ほぼ垂直に築かれています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小諸懐古射院（弓道場）の向かい側に上がり口がある。木村熊二のレリーフのある石垣の上のが南の丸跡。日当たりが良いので春先は野鳥がたくさん遊んでいる。花見の季節は馬場が混んでいても、南の丸跡はすいている。
There is an exit on the other side of Komoro Kyodoshoin (Kyudojo). On the stone wall with the relief of Kumura Kumani is the southern trace. In the early spring, a lot of wild birds play in the sunny days. During the cherry-blossom viewing season, Baba is crowded, but the southern traces are sparse.
