★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 直線コースのみの鉄砲馬場別名「桜の馬場」ともいう、と石には記されている。桜の季節には花見客で賑わう。桜百選にも選ばれている桜の名所であり、秋にはこの馬場を会場に菊花展も開催される。早朝にはラジオ体操、ウォーキング、ランニングなど地元の皆さんで賑わう（開園時間前は無料で散策できるのだ）。暖かな季節には幼稚園や保育園のお散歩や小遠足、小学生のスケッチなどで使われることも多く、近隣の住民は小さい頃から慣れ親しんだ場所である。

It is crowded with cherry blossoms during the cherry blossom season. It is a famous spot for cherry blossoms that has been selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossoms, and a chrysanthemum exhibition will be held at this Baba in the fall. In the early morning, it is crowded with locals such as gymnastics, walking, and running (you can take a walk for free before the opening hours). In warm seasons, it is often used for kindergarten and nursery school walks, small excursions, and sketches of elementary school students. It is a place familiar to local residents since they were small.

現在は桜の木々に覆われて長野県有数の桜の名所となってますね。
A spacious space that extends one step down from the stone wall that surrounds the main enclosure of Komoro Castle. As the name implies, it is a space used for horse training.
Today, it is covered with cherry blossom trees and is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Nagano prefecture.
