医師が施設長だが、入所当日に本人の病歴（たくさんあり、クリニックの紹介状がいい加減だったという理由もあるが）を聞かれ、こちらも記憶の限り正確に答えたが、死亡診断書の死亡の原因欄の、これまでの病気の期間などの記述がが正確でなかった。入所わずか10日余りで亡くなったが、亡くなる日の朝に施設長に呼び出されて容体の説明と看取り方法について確認をされ、そのまま出勤したが、昼過ぎに亡くなり、遺体引き取りに施設へ戻った際には死亡診断書を職員に託して顔も見せなかった。なぜいなかったのか、理由は聞いていないのでわからないし、学会や外せない用事があったのかもしれず、一概に悪い対応とは言えないが、人が生涯に一度しか経験しないことに際してこれは寂しかった。
