 I found a monument on the way from Yamato Yagi to stay at a nearby guest house. There are a lot of calm cityscapes other than Imaicho around here, and it is most suitable for a walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ このお寺さまは江戸期に隆盛を誇った伝統的な町並みである八木町界隈にありますが、その由来は天平時代に全国に設けられた国分寺の一つである大和国分寺といわれています。そして国重要文化財である十一面観音を藏しているお寺さまとしても知られています。
道から少し入った静かな場所にありとても落ち着くお寺さまだと感じました。
This temple is located in the Yagi-cho area, which was a traditional townscape that flourished during the Edo period, and its origin is said to be Yamato Kokubunji, one of the Kokubunji temples established throughout the country during the Tenpyo period. It is also known as a temple that holds the eleven-faced Kannon, which is an important cultural property of Japan.
I felt that it was a very calm temple in a quiet place just off the road.
