★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 25年以上毎月御参りさせて頂いております。祖父の石田兼吉が神社総代や会計をしていました。私も小島町会の青親会に今は殆ど参加していませんが所属しています。参加していた時は御神輿を担いだり、お焚き上げの手伝いをしています。縁が深い神社です。
We have been visiting every month for over 25 years. Grandfather Kenkichi Ishida was the shrine's representative and treasurer. I am a member of the Kojima Neighborhood Association. When I was there, I carried mikoshi and helped to cook it. It is a shrine with a deep connection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和20年の地図には中川放水路脇に存在する小島八幡神社。神社入り口前(南側)にある旧葛西海岸堤防の沖には水没した旧小島一丁目(現清新町一丁目)が見えるのはとても興味深く、かつての荒川河口にあっておそらく海にもかかわる由緒ある神社と思われます。詳しい資料があればご教示いただきたいです。
On the map of 1945, Kojima Hachiman Shrine is located beside the Nakagawa drainage channel. It is very interesting to see the submerged old Kojima 1-chome (currently Seishincho 1-chome) off the coast of the old Kasai coastal embankment in front of the entrance to the shrine (south side). It seems to be a shrine. If you have any detailed materials, please let me know.

本殿の裏には境内社が3つ祀られてました。
