Although it is a small shrine, the sculptures that decorate the main shrine are very beautiful.

Koizumi Shrine Festival God Nagara Fujiwara Michiko Sugawara Serving God Sayako Goddess God Kibasaki Sakihime Life Houda Betsumei Big Master Lifetime Daiichi Yasue Fire Products Spirituality Okutsu Hikomei Okutsu Himemei Tengo Roof Life Tsukiyomi Takeshi Raimei Life Misato Iyane History Our company was founded in 883, and the second son of Sanraku Dan Masatsuna, who was a sorcerer of Sanrakuso, Gakuraku-gun, He descended to the eastern country as an ancestor, and in particular, worked on the Jinglei Water in Kairaku-gun. Villagers called this company Nagara Myojin. After that, the shrine was rebuilt and the territory was donated by Naotsu Koizumi, Lord Tomioka, in 189 (Year 1), but the territory was donated. The castles were also attacked. At that time, the Toyotomi army was destroyed by fire, and all the shrines, shrines and old books were destroyed. After that, Nagara Myojin was slightly rebuilt and located in one corner of Motomura Miyahara. Sanemon Sugiyama, who was the lord of the time, donated the company site and worked on the relocation construction. In 1611, he moved the shrine in Miyahara to its current location and settled it in Koizumi village. From the old days of the townspeople, this shrine was deeply admired as the god of the local land, and it was actually the Sogo shrine. The main shrine was built from 1848 to 1854 and is a rare masterpiece in East Gunma, with its sculptures (Toryumon's foot). It became a village company of Kamikoizumi village in 1872 (Meiji 5). From the 7th to the 10th year of the Meiji Era, the current worship hall and the temple hall were rebuilt. Later, in 1912 (Meiji 45), the village shrine in Shimokoizumi village, famous as a god of learning, and the shrines in the town were merged and renamed Soja Koizumi Shrine. (From the precinct "Yuki Abbreviation") Okamigi "Oiso" An old casket that grows almost in the center of the precincts of Koizumi Shrine is a rare tree in the Nishikura district. Yonde 1st year (1489) Koizumi castle chief Tomioka chief Naomitsu Kosuke had military merits according to Mr. Kogai Furukawa. Built a garden. Villagers called this garden Tonobayashi. One of them was the so-called “Kenshin” from Sakaimachi, which was harvested last year. This sacred tree is a sacred tree that has been watching the rise and fall of the upper and lower Koizumi and the children in the morning and evening as a forest of guardians for many years. (From the precinct "Yuki Okamiki") Oizumi Town Designated Important Cultural Property "Koizumi Shrine Main Hall and Sculpture" The head office was built over 7 years from 1848 to 1854. Opening sculptures around the rising dragon and descending dragon, clouds, and waves are applied to the front and left prayer pillars. Also, the shrimp rainbow beams that connect the main shrine and the worship pillars, and the structures that support the roofs of the four corners are also engraved with dragons. You can also see sculptures on the walls based on anecdotes from Yoshitsune Genji. These are very respectable and are the only thing in Honmachi. In addition, it is a good representation of the shrine architecture in the northern Kanto region in the late Edo period, which uses a lot of sculpture. (From the precinct information board)

It is a local shrine. There is a huge zelkova and a stage that used to play Noh. I would like to apologize for passing by. I like the calm atmosphere.

A shrine dedicated to Nagara Fujiwara, who is often found in this region. Originally called Nagara Myojin, the name was changed to Koizumi Shrine after the surrounding companies were enshrined under the policy of one village and one company in the Meiji era. The biggest and only highlight is the wonderful main shrine that cannot be imagined from the old village shrine and the worship hall that was rebuilt in the Meiji era. The main shrine, which was built in 1854 (Kaei 7), is filled with abundant carvings and crafts, and it is no exaggeration to say that there are no bare wood parts. The main shrine with such fine carving is rare in the Kanto region, and it is not a main shrine at the level of local guardianship. No longer a work of art. A recommended shrine that is well worth seeing even if you spend some time visiting it. The main shrine of Nagara Shrine, which is about 2.5km southeast and also enshrines Fujiwara no Nagara, is as wonderful as this one, so please visit there as well. By the way, you can also accept the red stamp. The house across the eastern road is Miyaji-sama's house.

In the center of the precincts, there is a 300-year-old Oki god tree, the deity is Ueno's Kokukanbayashi, and Fujiwara no Nagara, who is enshrined only in this Ora district. It is said that Nagara Fujiwara was devoted to the people of this area and was loved and enshrined. After that, receiving a deep faith from Mr. Akai of Sanukiso, Nagara Shrines are scattered and enshrined in this Ora district. This Koizumi Shrine is one of them, and has been worshiped deeper than many people from ancient times to the present day.

Horinouchi Town, Oizumi-cho, Ora-gun. Old village company. In the center of the precincts, the zelkova of the sacred tree stretches straight, and it spreads widely and is a magnificent hall of worship. On the left side of the hall of worship, there are the precincts shrine and the shrine Niinari Shrine. There is a guide in the hall of worship, and the red stamp is the shrine priest's house, so I stopped by after worshiping. Mr. Miyaji responded. I was asked [Is it okay to write down because my hands are shaking recently and I can't write the red stamp?], But I got the written red stamp after entering the date. The precincts company also has a limited red stamp for ¥ 500 each.
