I took a taxi from Nihonmatsu station to Harimichi, but the debris flow closed the road and I walked. I was able to worship quietly in the absence of anyone.

City designated cultural property Disease-free disaster Lucky wisdom Eradication Marriage achievement Traffic safety Our shrine and Munakata Taisha Shrine in the main shrine benefit from being a god that keeps the voyage safe, and is now famous as a god of traffic safety. Our company is also enshrined in the same festival, which is especially beneficial for traffic safety. * If you pray at the main shrine and the hall of worship, you are praying at all shrines. Following the order of the Nihonmatsu feudal lord Nagataka Niwa, construction began in the first year of Kansei (1789), the hall of worship was completed in May 1794 (Hansei), and the main shrine was completed in April 1800 (Kansei 12) and the palace was completed. Was. The style was made by flow, and the current roof was replaced with a copper plate for the main shrine in 1952 and the shrine in 1972.

It used to be called Benzaiten, and is known locally as "Kibata's Benzaiten-sama." There are many cultural properties in the precincts. There are Kohata Daisugi as a national natural monument, Kohata Hata Festival as an important intangible folk cultural property of the country, and Kohatayama, Mie Tower, and Kohatayama Keizuka group as cultural properties designated by the prefecture. In addition to the main shrine, there are many shrines in the precincts, and you can imagine how prosperous this area used to be. Also, at the "Kohata no Hata Festival" held on the first Sunday of December every year, more than a hundred colorful Gotanhata are lined up, so not only locals but also many photographers gather. It is also one of the three major flag festivals in Japan.

It was dark, so I only worshiped and took water. There seems to be a triple tower.

It's a very high shrine, but ... with a spectacular view ... this red tower is a wonderful place.

There is a parking lot at the end of the second torii gate, so you can drive there. It will be a tough climb for a while from here, and I think it will take more than an hour to worship. It is said that the current main shrine and worship hall were burned by Date Masamune's fire, and were rebuilt in 1800 by Nagashige Niwa, the lord of the Nihonmatsu feudal lord. Furthermore, in the precincts, there are highlights such as the bright red three-storied pagoda, the large cedar tree over 700 years old, and the Keizuka group built in the late Heian period.
Climb for the first time at dusk. Of course, I'm alone. You're there, tengu ... It was a mysterious air that made me want to think so, and while my breath was rising, it seemed that I could get power from the forest by occasionally stopping and taking a deep breath. The Buddhist color remained strong, and I hesitated to make a Kashiwa-te at the main shrine. It seems that you can also visit the 33 Kannon of the stone Buddha in the mountains, so I will revisit it in a bright time. On the way back, I tried to get to the national highway from the direction of the second parking lot, but the road was narrow and there was still snow even in the middle of March, and the dead leaves of the cedar were abandoned, so I turned back from the middle.
