2018/10/13 Received Shingon Buddhist Chiyama school. I received the red stamp of the 12th temple of the 33rd Kannon Sacred Ground in Kazusa Province. The principal idol was Senju Kannon and received the powerful red stamp of the priest!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新上総三十三観音の札所。環の大楠と言う大きな樟があり県指定天然記念物の第一号です。バスで、上総湊から環駅まで乗車して、お参りしました。日東バスの本数が少ないです。
Shinjo So 33 Kannon's ticket office. It is the first natural monument designated by the prefecture with a large camphor tree called Okusu of the ring. I took a bus from Kazusa Minato to Tamaki Station and visited there. The number of Nitto buses is small.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大楠脇の参道を登るとアジのある山門、狛犬、鐘突堂、護摩堂が目を惹きます。
本堂は近代的な感じです。
境内から空を見れば大楠の迫力を感じながらお参りできます。
When you climb the approach to Okusuwaki, you will see the mountain gate with horse mackerel, guardian dogs, bell-shaped temple, and Gomadou.
The main hall has a modern feel.
If you look at the sky from the precincts, you can visit while feeling the power of Okusu.

真言宗智山派松嶺山興源寺。
狭い山あいの道を進んで行きます。すると、大きな楠木が立っています。それは見事な楠木です。内側が空洞化してしまって、なお勢いのある樹木です。幹の前には不動明王らしき像が祭られています。
急な坂道を進むと、さらに急な階段が現れます。そこをなんとかクリアすると山門です。ようやく興源寺本堂に到着となります。
私が訪問した時は、丁度法事の最中でしたので遠慮して引き返そうと思ったら、お寺の方が、｢お参りですか？｣と、声をかけていただき、お参りできました。更に御朱印も頂けました。感謝です。

Follow the narrow mountain road. Then, a big Kusunoki stands. It's a stunning Kusunoki. The inside is hollowed out, and it is still a vigorous tree. A statue that seems to be Fudo Myo is enshrined in front of the trunk.
If you go down a steep slope, you will see even steeper stairs. If you manage to clear it, it will be a mountain gate. We will finally arrive at the main hall of Kogenji Temple.
When I visited, I was in the middle of a memorial service, so when I decided to refrain from turning back, the temple asked me, "Are you visiting?" I also received a red stamp. Thank you.
