元々、ここは女子校でした 矢がすりの着物に袴姿のお嬢様が
学問を納めていたと私たちはここで教鞭を取っていた先生に聞きました。その、歴史をレンガ仕立てのこの門は観ていたそうです。 小学生だった私たちのかすかな記憶ですが。 間違いならごめんなさい！
その後、学校が小学校となり女子校は今の茨城県立第二女子高等学校(幸町)となったそうです。
現在は、男女共学になったとか？ オシマイ！
