ムダなことは話さないけど聞いたことにはしっかり答えてくれるお医者さんです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 他の方も書かれているように、先生以外のスタッフさんはとても親切。が、先生ときたら非常に態度が悪く、育て方の否定と軽い説教で初診が終わりました（結局、なんだかんだで病名がわからなかったのでしょうが、処方は無難とも言える「抗生物質」）。
また、この先生は何かあったら温度環境などを口にして説教するのでしょうか？私もまったく同じカタチで説教されたものの、そもそもとして寒さには十分耐えられる動物なんですけどね。。
「そもそも日本での飼育は不向きな動物なので」とか仰っていたものの、そんなことを言えばほとんどのペットが国外の動物であり、適さないことになる。仮にそうだとしたらペットとして売られないですよね？？
とにかくさまざまな疑問・矛盾・怒りを感じながらも我慢。同院での診察に満足できなかったため、自力でペットの病気を調べ、別の病院に行ったところ同様の診断結果となり、適切な治療ができました。
メインとしているペットは犬や猫だけなのでしょうか？
だとするなら最初からそう限定すべき。
はっきり言って愛をもって接してくれる病院ではないです。あくまで業務って感じの先生なので、それでもいいなら割り切れるでしょう。
大切なペットのためにも、人としてももう二度と行きません。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 血尿が表れるようになり、小動物も診てもらえると聞いたのでうさぎを連れて行きました。
うさぎをお迎えしたペットショップでも、別の動物病院でもオスだと聞いていたのでオスだと伝えました。すると先生はメスのうさぎの特徴についてお説教をしたあと、大変強い口調で「オスではない」とおっしゃりました。それもわざわざ、診察後にも2回目のお説教をしにいらっしゃいました。しっかりとうさぎの性別を理解していなかった私にももちろん非はありますが、どうしてそこまで強い口調で詰られなくてはならないのだろうかと大変不快でした。
肝心の診察はというと、骨が脆く骨折しやすい、尚且つ恐怖で暴れてしまう可能性の高いうさぎを、高い診察台の上に「出してください」と。のちに他の動物病院に罹りましたが、そちらではうさぎの落下を防ぐため床で診てくれましたよ。血尿の症状について説明するも、「実際の尿を持ってきていないのだからわからない」と。先生の態度は始終尊大で、まさに大昔の田舎の町医者という雰囲気！特に小動物を飼われている方には絶対に行って欲しくありませんので、正直に書かせていただきました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 実家が近くにあり、飼っていた犬や猫を診ていただいていました。病気や怪我に対して適切な治療や手術をして頂いたと思っています。
ただ、先生は過度に不安を煽るような言い方や無知である事を責めるような言い方をする印象です。
小学生ながら、うちの犬はもうすぐ死んでしまうんだ。と思ってしまうような説明の仕方でした。
大人になって考えれば今日明日死んでしまうような動物を入院させずに家に帰すことはないだろうと気付きました。
治療に関して不満を持ったことはありません。
ですが、飼い主の気持ちに寄り添ってくれる先生ではないと私は思いました。
そのようなことが気にならないのであればペットを任せても問題ないと思います。
