★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「ずいき祭」は、毎年10月1日～5日の間、北野天満宮の神様を 御旅所へお迎えして「瑞饋御輿」を奉り、その年の収穫に感謝の表すお祭です。
屋根が「ずいき」で葺かれているので「瑞饋神輿」と呼ばれます。他にも、乾燥した野菜、湯葉、麩、食べ物の種、皮などの作物を使って五穀豊穣を感謝します。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御旅所に奉納されている瑞饋神輿を拝見しました。屋根に葺かれた半円形の切り口をみせるズイキは上が赤く下が緑です。全体の金色の細かい細工は麦わら、四方に垂れたお飾りは赤なす・五色唐辛子・ゆずなどを糸に通してします。鳥居脇に梅に鶯と松に鶴はみょうがです。屋根から斜めにのびるむらさきの柱と天満宮の文字は千日紅という赤と白の花です。大きな球は賀茂ナスと思いきや唯一金属の鈴だそうです。鳥居の下と上の趣向は西之京の氏子の皆さんが毎年新たな趣向を凝らすそうです。素晴らしいです。
I saw the Mikoshi Mikoshi dedicated to the Otabisho. Zuiki, which shows a semi-circular cut on the roof, has a red top and a green bottom. The whole golden fine work is made of straw, and the decorations hanging on all sides are made by threading red eggplant, five-colored pepper, and yuzu. Beside the torii, there are plums, warblers, pine trees, and cranes. The purple pillars that extend diagonally from the roof and the characters of Tenmangu are red and white flowers called Senboku. I think the big ball is Kamo eggplant and it is the only metal bell. The tastes below and above the torii are said to be new every year by Nishinokyo's parishioners. Wonderful.

優美な、お神輿などは、いつもどうりのしつらえで、お参りできました。
歴史の重みを感じる事の出来る場所です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都の代表的な秋祭として知られるずいき祭は､村上天皇の御代(天慶9年～康保4年・西暦946～967)にはじまると伝えられ､御祭神菅原道真公が大宰府で彫られた木像を随行の西ノ京の神人(じにん)が持ち帰りお祀りし､秋の収穫時に野菜や穀物をお供えしたのが始まりという。
今日では､北野の神を 10月1日から10月4日まで西ノ京の御旅所へお迎えして「ずいき御輿」を奉り、本年の収穫に感謝の誠心を捧げる。
It is said that the Shizuki Matsuri, known as Kyoto's representative autumn festival, begins with Emperor Murakami's Miyo (Tenkei 9-Yasuho 4, AD 946-967). It is said that the jin statue of Nishinokyo accompanying the wooden statue brought home and worshiped it, and offered vegetables and grains during the autumn harvest.
Today, the Kitano deity is welcomed from October 1 to October 4 at the Nishinokyo Imperial Inn, serving the “Zuiki Mikoshi” and devoting his sincere gratitude to this year's harvest.
