2015年に始まった塩釜港北岸の緑地整備は、平成28年度というから2017年3月までに終える計画だったようですが、まだ工事が続いています。看板には、来年(2022)春の日付が書いてあります。新しい防潮堤に沿って、東西にざっくり600メートルの細長い公園になり、広場は芝とクレーがあって、トイレ2棟、四阿(あずまや)2棟はもう形になっています。今は、駐車場のあたりを造っているようです。また、親水護岸という、小さな浜辺もあります。水際をマップ上で測ると、ざっと100メートルぐらいです。並行して、防潮堤の応急工事も行われていて、確かに一部沈降しているような箇所が見られました。今年(2021)2月13日夜にあった福島県沖M7.3の地震は、塩竈でも震度5強の揺れだったので、あの影響かしらん。

At the same time, emergency work on the tide embankment was being carried out, and there were some places where it seemed to have subsided. The M7.3 earthquake off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture on the night of February 13th this year (2021) was a tremor with a seismic intensity of over 5 even in Shiogama, so I wonder if that was the effect.
