鈴	鈴木出羽守重泰 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 石垣が崩壊している箇所は有りますが、とにかく素晴らしい石垣群と、二重堀切や大竪堀などの土の遺構も素晴らしい。石垣も土の遺構も一級品の桐原城、山城好きなら楽しめる事は間違いない。 There are places where the stone walls have collapsed, but anyway, the wonderful stone walls and the remains of the soil such as the double moat and the large vertical moat are also wonderful. 土	土成人 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私は山城の城郭群として「小笠原城郭群」が大のお気に入りです。　これ程竪堀・堀切・石垣の充実した遺構群が見られる所は他にありません。　特に桐原城は私に山城の楽しさ・素晴らしさを教えてくれた城だと思っています。　３回訪れました。　下から仰ぎ見る竪堀、広々とした曲輪とそれを取り巻く低い石垣、主郭背後の堀切とそれに続く竪堀等その規模の大きさに圧倒されました。　最後に主郭北下の竪堀を降りてみようとしましたが、その急傾斜におののき諦めました。
