京都行き高速バス(土日のみ運行)と高砂住宅行きは駅に隣接した乗り場から出ている。他は歩道か陸橋から島状の乗り場に渡る。JR久宝寺方面(市立病院方面)のみ駅の南西側、八尾駅筋から出ているので注意が必要。
駅の中央改札を出て、すぐ右に近鉄バスの発車時刻やバス停にバスが停まっているかを知らせる案内板があり便利。
In addition to the Kintetsu Bus, there are also Osaka buses bound for Fuse Station and Osaka Airport.
Express buses bound for Kyoto (operated only on Saturdays and Sundays) and bound for Takasago Residence leave from the platform adjacent to the station. Others cross from the sidewalk or overpass to the island-shaped platform. Please note that only the JR Kyuhoji area (Municipal Hospital area) exits from Yao station on the southwest side of the station.
There is a convenient information board on the right side of the central ticket gate of the station that informs you of the departure time of the Kintetsu bus and whether the bus is stopped at the bus stop.
