M	Mayu Michelin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 廣田硝子は明治32(1899)年創業、ガラス食器のメーカーです。看板商品のひとつが江戸切子。華やかな江戸の赤とカッティングが織り成す美しい光の屈折。伝統の技が今に受け継がれています。また、こちらの工房で有名なのが醤油差し。なかでも、すり口の醤油差しは廣田硝子が元祖です。それまでは、ねじ式が主流でしたが、医療用の点滴瓶の仕組みを参考に1976年、すり口式を開発。液だれしない醤油差しとして大ヒットしたのでした。 Hirota Glass was founded in 1899 and is a manufacturer of glass tableware. One of the signboard products is Edo Kiriko. Beautiful refraction of light woven by the gorgeous red of Edo and cutting. Traditional techniques have been handed down to this day. Also, the soy sauce bottle is famous in this workshop. Among them, Hirota Glass is the originator of the soy sauce bottle at the mouth. Until then, the screw type was the mainstream, but in 1976, the sliding mouth type was developed with reference to the mechanism of medical drip bottles. D	Drue Babb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended! I like the different styles of glassware - some are reproductions from Hirota's (over) century of hand crafted glass making in Tokyo. I bought some coffee cups and saucers which are both beautiful and useful- the best combination! I cannot speak much Japanese but the staff could so this was very convenient (for me). A short walk from Kinshicho Metro (Hanzomon Line).
