陸中海岸国立公園に近い丘陵地にあり眼下に太平洋を一望、気仙沼湾から遠く 金華山まで見渡せる海洋の景観は素晴らしい。コースは短いがレイアップダウンが効いており、フェアウェイはやや狭く、戦略性が要求されるトリッキーな設計になっており、 スコアメイクには正確なショットが必要である。
