It’s not only that their designs are good. I also really appreciate their flexibility: we had several casual conversations with Hanna to bounce around ideas; then her team came up with computer designs based on our exact specifications; and after several iterations, they made the exact ring that my fiancée had been dreaming of. If you're looking for something special, especially something custom-made, then Kensington Diamond's is the way to go in Tokyo. When I found Kensington Diamonds and met Hanna, I was extremely relieved and very happy. Hanna was not only helpful with explaining the nature of diamonds and rings, but was also very supportive in the whole process. I did not feel pressured into any particular purchase, nor did it feel like there were any hidden fees or such. The whole purchase, from design to receiving the ring, was smooth and steady. Everything can be to your individual requirements, with the only limit being your imagination and wallet. I am no ring expert, but the quality seems excellent. Fiancé is very happy!

When looking at engagement rings, we did the whole shebang - from high-end stores on the Ginza strip to the bespoke handmade jewelry makers in Nakameguro. In the end, we chose Kensington Diamonds bc Hanna was such a pleasure to work with. We met Hanna early on because she was one of the few places that spoke English. We appreciated how she patiently sat with us, explaining the 4Cs, and sharing her knowledge with us. When we found the perfect emerald cut diamond, it was important for us to know where it came from. She went out of her way to find the Diamond Time-Lapse Report which showed the different hands that the diamonds passed by before it came to us. Pretty cool. During the course of choosing the best style for the ring, we met with her about three times. She was always patient, kind, and honest. We felt comfortable putting our trust in Hanna and do not regret it. I recently picked up my ring (which they kindly expedited bc we were traveling abroad) and I could not be happier with how it came out.
