断念だが、当時の建物は、残っていなくって、蕪村の石像がある。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 江戸時代を代表する俳人・画家の与謝蕪村が3年あまり丹後に滞在したときの拠点となった寺。彼がいた当時のものは山門しか残っていない。最近になって作られた彼の坐像と正岡子規の弟子の俳人河東碧梧桐の筆による蕪村句碑が数少ない蕪村の痕跡。
The temple that became the base when Yosa Buson, a poet and painter representing the Edo period, stayed in Tango for about three years. At the time he was there, only the mountain gate remains. A trace of Buson, which is one of the few monuments of Buson written by his sitting statue and Shiki Masaoka's apprentice, Kawahigashi Hekigiri.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 蕪村寺。寺町を散策している時見つけたお寺。山門の右側に「見性寺」左側に「蕪村寺」と書かれてあります。お寺の方が本堂の雨戸を開け下さいました。本堂に上げていただき、ゆっくり拝観させていただきました。三年間もここに滞在されたのでたくさんの資料がありました。
Myoho-ji Temple. The temple I found while strolling around Teramachi. "Myoho-ji" is written on the right side of the mountain gate, and "Myomura-ji" is written on the left side. The temple opened the shutters of the main hall. I raised it to the main hall and took a leisurely look at it. Since I stayed here for three years, I had a lot of materials.
