J	JJ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 川崎市が政令指定都市になったのを記念に作られました。さすがに40年経つといたるところに老朽化がみえ、雨漏りもしている模様。外観も経年劣化が目立ちます。建築当時の赤レンガはそのままですが、ベンチがある広い広場が昔と変わらずデンとあるような感じです。昔と違っていたるところに自動販売機が設置され、17アイスまであるのには驚きました。しかし、建物内の冷房は28度設定なのか真夏には中にいても汗だくになりました。昔は庭園の手入れが丹念になされてましたが、今は荒れまくってます。最低限の伐採はしているようですが、池の水は循環していなさそうで、水は濁り、昔はたくさんいた鯉も見れませんでした。また、日中でもとんでもない数の蚊が飛んでました。車の入り口に沿って水が滝のように流れていたところは、今は枯れているというか、水を流すのをやめたようで、いつの頃かに置かれたところどころ塗装の剥がれている像が不気味でした。財政の問題とか色々あるのでしょうが、市の記念として建てられた建物は辛うじてメンテナンスで持っているような状態ですが、外は荒れ始めてますので、もうとょっとなんとかならないものかと、幼少期をこの地で過ごした身としては悲しくなりました。 It was created to commemorate Kawasaki City becoming a government-designated city.
