代田は地名で「よだ」と読みます。「だいた」ではありません。
観光地ではないと書きましたが、正直ここ周辺ではこのお饅頭屋さん自体がランドマークです。
とても美味しいので会津民はわざわざここに買いに行きます。
若松喜多方間を移動する観光客の皆さんへ。
その時は会津縦貫道を使わずに、是非国道121号線を使って代田まんじゅうを買ってください。
正直若松や喜多方でここに匹敵する饅頭を売っているお店はありません。
寄り道をする価値はじゅうぶんにあることを保証します。
観光地で量産化されたお土産の菓子など買わず、是非とも本物の地元の味を食べてみてください。

期間限定ですが、水ようかんも、甘さ控えめでおいしいです。
