★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice place to enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji at Kawaguchiko. It may be a bit far away from the town centre of the lake, but there are many ways to get there.
Some take public buses while quite a number of people drive there. But I think the best way to go there is to ride a bike. You can rent one very easily at one of the many bike rental stores near the train station.
Though it may be a bit slower, you can enjoy the view along the route way better than being confined inside a vehicle. You can stop whenever and wherever you want for the Kodak moments.
During the sakura (cherry blossom) season, you will see beautiful pink sakura in many parts of the lake. Together with the snow capped Mount Fuji in the distance and its reflection in the lake, you can stretch your imagination and frame your photo in whichever way you like. More often than not, you will have pictures that would impress your friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location to view mount fuji across the lake kawaguchi. if you come in March to April, you might even catch a glimpse of the beautiful sakura trees that are lined along the coast of the lake. There will be pop-up stalls hawking street food and other snacks. Very pleasant stroll along the lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful walking trail to see Mt Fuji at anytime during the year. Came during spring time at 5am, to wait for the sunrise. There were clouds at first but around 6am it cleared up and got a beautiful view.
Has parking and also accessible by rental bikes from nearby lodges.
