片倉小十郎なくして伊達政宗なし！
30分ほど霊廟を眺めながら、戦国時代にこの地を治めた小十郎に思いを馳せました。
今度はゆっくりと白石城にも足を運んでみたいとおもいます。

There is no Date Masamune without Katakura Kojuro!
While looking at the mausoleum for about 30 minutes, I thought about Kojuro who ruled this place during the Warring States.
This time I would like to visit Shiroishi Castle slowly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山岡荘八の伊達政宗という小説を読むまでは、伊達政宗のことも片倉小十郎も知りませんでした。この廟所を伺ったのは大河ドラマで独眼竜政宗が放映された翌年でしたね。やはり、予備知識は必要ですね。知らずに行ったら、片倉小十郎景綱のお墓がどれなのかわからなかったでしょうね。
Until I read the novel Masamune Date of Yamaoka Sohachi, I didn't know Date Masamune or Katakura Kojuro. I heard this place the year after Taiga Masamune was aired in the Taiga drama. After all, prior knowledge is necessary. If you went without knowing, you wouldn't have figured out the grave of Katakura Kojuro Keizuna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 行きの登り、帰りの下りが結構キツいので足の悪いかたは注意が必要です。静かで良いところ。
The climbing on the way up and the descent on the way back are quite difficult, so be careful if you have a bad leg. Quiet and good place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自動車道から脇道へ入ると駐車場があり、階段を登って、墓地の一番奥にあります。白石城から歩いたら20分くらいかかりましたが、歩いて行けない距離ではありません。城から歩く場合は、googleの道案内を無視して、二の丸を突っ切っていくのがおすすめ。
If you enter the side road from the motorway, there is a parking lot, and you can climb the stairs to the innermost part of the graveyard. It took about 20 minutes to walk from Shiraishi Castle, but it is not within walking distance. When walking from the castle, it is recommended to ignore the google directions and cut through the Ninomaru.

愛宕山山麓の片倉家の廟所で、阿弥陀如来像が並んでいますが、この像が歴代の片倉小十郎の墓標との事です。慎ましい感じが良いですね。阿弥陀さまの表情が違うのが興味深いです。
It is a historic site in Shiroishi City, Fukuoka.
At the mausoleum of the Katakura family at the foot of Mt. Atago, statues of Amida Nyorai are lined up, and this statue is the tombstone of successive Katakura Kojuro. The humble feeling is good. It is interesting that Amitabha's facial expression is different.
