★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To say that this SoCal surfer was stoked to make my way to the surfer's paradise off the coast of Chiba and surf my heart out with a bunch of super-cool, wildly gnarly and immensely hospitable and friendly Japanese surfers is beyond--BE-YOND!!!--and understatement. I donned my full suit in the mid-Fall chill and took off on a bunch O' right and left breakin' thwalpers!!! A cab driver ensured (it was his mission) that I'd find the surf shop (Voodoo), get the right board and Cowabunga!!! A day that stands out...there with a surfboard and my true love, Haruna!!!
