神社の周りをぐる〜っと、一周しましたが駐車場がわからなかったので、区民会館にとりあえずおきました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 豊田安城自転車道の脇にある神社です。境内の桜が見頃（'21/3/18）でした。
小さなビオトープが併設されておりメダカがいます。
案内板によると702年に持統上皇が行幸のおり鷹狩を行った際に奉祀したことに始まり1300年余の歴史がある神社です。また当地はこの事績に由来しており鳥狩が転じて渡刈町（とがり）となったそうです。
1kmほど北東に鳥狩塚があり石碑と案内板があります。
息休めに思わぬ歴史を感じられました。
