★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元々木戸城という城があったみたいで境内に立て看板があります。そう思って周辺を歩いてみれば、土塁と堀が残っているのがわかってなかなか良いです。
 It seems that there was originally a castle called Kido Castle, and there is a signboard standing in the precincts. I thought that way and walked around it, and it was pretty good to see that the earthwork and moat remained.

神社境内の東の入り口に土塁、本殿裏に堀が残っています。
発掘調査によって15世紀後半の短期間に存在した城であることがわかっています。

There is an earthwork at the eastern entrance of the shrine precincts and a moat behind the main shrine.
Archaeological excavations have revealed that it is a castle that existed for a short period in the latter half of the 15th century.
