し	しょぼん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春日神社当社の現在の祭神は素盞鳴尊（すさのおのみこと）ですが、昔は牛頭天王（ごずてんのう）を祀り「牛頭天王社」と呼ばれました。由緒によると、当社に隣接していた神宮寺（春日神社が鎮守社とも）である正法寺（真言宗、山号は補陀落山（ふだらくさん））は、天長元年（824）に嵯峨天皇の皇女（正子内親王）の御願により、空海の弟子智泉（ちせん）が開創したと伝えられます。正子内親王は当社にも祈願したといわれており、境内にある正子塚には内親王が祀られています。江戸時代まで春日神社と正法寺は密接な関係をもって運営されてきたようですが、明治の廃仏毀釈により両者は分離し、その後正法寺は廃寺となりました。「大阪府全志」によると、正法寺には寛元３年（1245）や「明徳二年（1391）七月藤原秀安奉納」という銘を持つ鐘があったようです。社殿は天正６年（1578）の織田信長による荒木村重討伐の際に焼失しましたが、その後慶長３年（1598）に豊臣家家臣池田光重が再建したとのことです。戦前の秋季例祭では、氏子が所々に火をたき、太鼓を打ち鳴らして当社所蔵の獅子頭を追い回していましたが、現在は行われていません。 Kasuga Shrine Our current festival god is Susanomi-no-Sanson, but in the past, it was called “Ushizu Tennosha” by singing Gotennou.
