入間の西村さんから直接反物を入れているのは、ここと呉服かんだだけです。
We deal with Kawagoe Karako.
There is also Iruma twin weave.
It is only here and kimono kumomo that we put cloth directly from Mr. Nishimura in Iruma.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今や数少ない川越唐桟のお店。安めのものなら仕立て代込みで4万以内でジャストサイズが手に入ります！綿だから自分で洗濯できるし。もう作り手がいなくて手に入らない反物もあったりして素敵です。
One of the few Kawagoe Karako shops. If it is cheaper, you can get the just size within 40,000 including tailoring fee! Because it's cotton, you can wash it yourself. It is nice because there are some fabrics that you can't get anymore because there are no creators.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本川越駅から蔵造りの町並みに向かう途中にある老舗の呉服屋さん。絹のように滑らかな風合いと粋な縞が特徴の木綿生地「川越唐桟」を取り扱っており、店外からも見えるように展示されています。
反物を選んで採寸して頂き、1ヶ月程度できれいに仕立てて頂きました。
川越唐桟を使用した小物などもお土産に素敵だと思います。観光の際に覗かれてみてはいかがでしょうか。
A well-established samurai clothes shop on the way from Motokawagoe Station to the cityscape of the city. We handle the cotton fabric “Kawagoe Koranbi” that features silky smooth texture and stylish stripes, and it is displayed so that it can be viewed from outside the store.
We chose the fabric and measured it, and it was beautifully tailored in about one month.
I think that small items using Kawagoe Karamari are also wonderful souvenirs. Why don't you try it while sightseeing?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ とても親切に対応いただきました。こんなに居心地のよい呉服屋さんは、なかなか珍しいのではないでしょうか。無理矢理売り付けてやろうという感じが一切なく、気軽に入れて仕立てもお任せできる、昭和感溢れる川越という街にぴったりの素敵なお店でした。
Thank you very much for your kindness. I think it's quite rare to find such a cozy kimono shop. There was no feeling of forcibly selling it, and it was a wonderful shop that was perfect for the town of Kawagoe, which is full of Showa era, where you can easily put it in and leave it to the tailoring.
