★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst attitude restaurant I have personally experienced in Japan. We were asked to wait in the line and did not called by the server. And after waiting for 20 mins , we asked the server why everybody can go into the restaurant and the serve told us that we have to fill out the waiting line form. We were shocked because he did not care about us , and while we say ok then let's not eat it . The server just simply say OK. Very very bad attitude, so rude

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have four set lunch, and three of them offer beef BBQ while the JPY1800 is the beef burger steak. We tried the JPY 3300 version and it’s good. Service is acceptable too, and they are quite popular so some waiting is required during peak hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a cheap place to go. However if you are a tourist from overseas and has collected a discount coupon from the information center, the restaurant will provide you one free drink.
The standard karubi beef lunch set was good taste enough for me anyway.
Note:You need to show your passport to information Centre first to swap for coupon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent grilled aged meat restaurant at a very convenient location. Less than 5 minutes from the station and the shopping plaza. Prices are on the higher end but that’s expected at Karuizawa. Set lunch provide good value and then offer a range of a la Carte cuts. Prices reflect the quality.
