創建年は寛文5年 1665年。
賀茂建角身神は天照大神の命を受け、
神武天皇を導き東征の勝利に貢献した。
別名を八咫烏と言う。
八咫烏を祀っている神社は珍しいらしく、
和歌山の熊野三山神社、奈良の八咫烏神社、
京都の下賀茂神社と、この烏塚神社だけらしい。
フラフラと田んぼの間の道を自転車で走っている時、
森のような物が突如見えたから、
神社かな？と思って近づくと、まさにその通りだった。
お詣りして良かった。
