Although it is a small folk museum, I enjoyed it with many cultural properties. It seems that there are many things about sericulture.

Although it is a small museum, the contents of the exhibition are very substantial! About Kanra Town, which supported the Tomioka Silk Mill, the process of sericulture, the history of Kanra Town, which prospered with sericulture, and even Mr. Obata's red armor, which supported the Takeda family, and even the Enku Buddha! !! Thanks to the kind explanation from the receptionist, I deepened my understanding of the history of Kanra Town! I would like to visit again slowly.

The curator at the reception explained the first floor, probably because it was a weekday with few other users. He was a soft and kind person. The first floor is mainly for sericulture, so be careful if you are not good at insects. Especially you should not look at the ceiling.

I couldn't go inside because of time, but the appearance and the view of the front of the entrance were good. Next time I would like to see the exhibition.

A history museum in Kanra-cho, which is closely related to the Oda family. Information is also collected on the world heritage silk industry. It's interesting to see silkworms wearing cocoons at the Kamoi in the reference room. You can feel the atmosphere of the castle town by seeing the remains of samurai residences and moats remaining in the vicinity.

A small folk museum in the town. There were also some rare items such as toilet bowls and guns from the Meiji era. The first floor mainly exhibits sericulture-related history, and the second floor mainly exhibits materials related to Mr. Obata. Mr. Obata, the lord of Kunimine Castle, who ruled the Kanra area in the latter half of the Muromachi period, seems to have been active as a leader of the Takeda army corps, but at that time, the footwear of "Akazonae" that Mr. Takeda allowed to wear is also exhibited. , It was quite impressive.

It's a small museum, but it was surprisingly good. I was able to hear various stories. In the olden days, it seems that the land of Obata was originally governed by the land (territory) of Obata, who was born from Mr. Kanmu Taira and Chichibu, and started to call himself Obata from the place name. It will be the development lord (pioneer samurai) of the Heian-Kamakura period. So Mr. Obata's real surname is Mr. Taira. Mr. Chichibu was one of the most influential tribes of Mr. Bando Heishi. By the way, on the 2nd floor, there is a genealogy that says that Mr. Oda's real surname is Mr. Isehei, but the self-proclaimed origin of the Azuchi-Momoyama period and the Edo period has advanced and it is not clear, and all the power is It is said that it is a convenient tentative blame for the first-come-first-served basis, as most of them said, since it was the time when they ruled. According to recent research, the origin of Mr. Oda is probably the Imbe clan theory of the ancient clan, which was older than Mr. Taira. I apologize if I'm wrong. Early people such as Chichibu and Obata who started to make names ... In other words, I think there is no doubt that the origins of the people who took the place names from the Heian period, the source of the Kamakura period, the Taira clan, the wisteria, etc. By the way, the samurai exhibition on the 2nd floor was of course good. However, the silk moth exhibition on the first floor was also very interesting. The story of the silk moth was also interesting.
