★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 海田ふるさと館の裏手にある、町指定史跡の古墳と、県指定天然記念物の「海田観音免のクスノキ」のある公園です。公園内で空を見上げると、樹齢300年以上のクスノキの枝が全天を覆うように広がっていて迫力があります。遊具は無いので子供の遊び場には向きませんが、ゆっくり腰を下ろして古代に思いを馳せといいかもしれません。
Behind the Kaita Furusatokan, it is a park with an ancient burial mound designated by the town and a natural monument designated by the prefecture, "Kaita Kannonmen Kusunoki". Looking up at the sky in the park, the branches of camphor trees, which are over 300 years old, spread out to cover the whole sky, which is impressive. Since there are no playground equipment, it is not suitable for children's playgrounds, but it may be a good idea to sit down and think about ancient times.

This park is my cycling and walking course. The camphor tree here is designated as a natural monument in Hiroshima Prefecture. It can be called a Shinboku, and it is healed every time I go.
