岡山で一番初詣で訪れる人数も多い場所だ。
初詣に行くのは大渋滞覚悟でいかなければいけないので大変です。
またここは朔日参りで毎月1日になるちょうど深夜に向かうと経営者の方々や参拝者の方々でそこそこ人がいるので面白いし、毎月参ることで気持ちをリセットするにはいい場所だと思う。あと深夜にも関わらず朔日参りの日は夜店が色々と開いているのでその参道を歩いていくのは楽しみでもあります。
またここ最近から先に奥の院がありますが、深夜に山を上がっていくのは用心をした方がいいかも。
真っ暗なので懐中電灯は必須です。そして結構険しい道ですのでその点は注意ですね！

あまり整備されていないようです。焼き物の狛犬ですが、鼻がもげていたり、前足が無かったり、おまけに台座から落ちているし・・散々な狛犬になっています。手水鉢も割れているし・・。少しはお世話をしないと御利益はいただけないかもしれません。
