カウンター席、4人掛けのテーブル席も4つぐらいある。
喫煙可の純喫茶。ゆっくりできる。
平日に来店したがランチ前にはお客さんも増えてきた。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 歴史がありそうだなと思って入られていただいたら、創業60年で御年98歳のお母さんが経営。一緒に働く姪っ子さんも70歳代とのこと。戦後を満州で迎え、再建始まった広島でコツコツと準備をして38歳の時に創業。旦那さんと一緒にやってこられたとのことです。ぜひ伺ってみてください！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 素泊まりだったので飯屋を探すも、近隣の飲食店はコロナウイルスのため軒並み休業となっていて、とてもお好み焼きなぞありつけそうに無かった。喫茶店を発見した。名はコロナ。恐る恐る入ると、おば（あ）ちゃんが何人もあわただしく動き回っていて彼女らの視線が一気にこちらに集中する。若い人はいいねと言われて恐縮することしきり。（2021年7月5日）100歳を迎えるおばあちゃんもカウンターの内側で今も現役。それも大変若々しくてびっくりした。彼女らが言うにはこの周辺は戦前、仏壇通り、證券通りがあり、そして「東の遊郭」という何とも異様な街の作りとなっていた。今でもソープが多いのはその名残なのかな？ちなみに、地元広島の女の子ではなく九州系が多いらしい。お店に行っても広島弁を堪能できるわけではないのだ。そんなな話を聞かせていただきました。いい朝だっ！！モーニングセット600円。若い女の子が会計でマッチを求めていた。名前に負けるな老舗喫茶。
