通称「モーゼスレイク公園」
といいます。
「モーゼスレイク公園」の由来は
米沢市とアメリカ合衆国モーゼスレイク市と
の姉妹都市提携5周年を記念して、金池第3号公園に1985年5月1日にミスモーゼスレイクが来訪し記念植樹としてソメイヨシノ5本を植栽されました。それ以来、この公園を通称モーゼスレイク公園と呼ばれるようになりました。

公園内にはモーゼスレイク姉妹都市記念植樹のほか、
野口雨情詩碑や「翔」の銅像などもあり、
市民の憩いとくつろぎを与えてくれています。
