★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神奈川県は１４日、中井町の県営知的障害者福祉施設「中井やまゆり園」で、入所者２人への身体的虐待行為が確認されたと発表した。
発表によると、今年２月、入所者の男女２人が、ほぼ毎日のように１日８時間以上、外から施錠された居室に閉じこめられた。２人には強度行動障害があり、園側は「他の入所者や職員への粗暴な行為を防ぐとともに、本人の安全を守るためだった」と説明している。
同園が、利用者に行った身体拘束の２月分のうち、長時間拘束した２２件の情報を利用者に関係する市町に提供し、このうち１市が今月１３日、２人への拘束について虐待と認定した。
