その時の感想として覚えているのは、味はごく普通なのに値段が高くて、とても小さかった…ということ。
今回、知り合いの誕生日にプレゼントしようと数年ぶりに行ったのですが…
以前はケースに並んでいたケーキが全く無く、店内に置いておるのは焼き菓子だけ。
もうケーキはやめてしまったのかと思い聞いてみると、「ショートケーキとチョコレートケーキなら、あります。」とのこと。
ちょっと嫌な予感がしながら、ショートケーキ2個を注文しました。
店の奥から出してきたケーキを見て、びっくり。
小さかった記憶はあるけれど、こんなに小さかった？
食べ放題に置いてあるような、ほんとに小さなケーキで、普通のショートケーキの半分の大きさもありません。
小さな保冷剤を1つ入れていただいて、薄い紙の箱に入れて下さって、ほんとに小さなケーキ2個で￥960と言われ、本当に驚きました。
関東の有名なケーキ屋なみのお値段です。
さぞ美味しいのかと思い、知り合いと二人でたべたのですが…無言。
買ってから30分ほど後だったのですが、スポンジも中に挟んであるクリームも半解凍状態…
あまり売れないので、作ったケーキを冷凍した物を少し解凍して販売していたのだと思います。
この値段とこのケーキでは、お店が続いているのが不思議なくらいです。
初めてこんな辛口のコメントをさせていただきました。
