★ ★ ★ ★ ★ １９９０年５月に自転車で玉庭側から越えました。標高は５４３ｍです。この日は冬季通行止めの大峠隧道をあっさり越えたので、手ノ子に出る予定を変更して玉庭から九才峠と極楽峠を越えて小国に出ました。国道１２１号から１１３号への近道としては数ｋｍしか違いませんし、峠が３発増えるので、ほとんど意味無いと思います。やはり峠道を楽しみながら呑気に走るのが良いですね。
 In May 1990, I passed by bicycle from the garden side. The elevation is 543m. On this day, I easily crossed the winter pass Ouchi Road, so I changed my schedule for Handoko and went out from Tamaba to a small country over a nine-year-old girl and a paradise. As a shortcut from National highway No. 121 to No. 113, it is only a few kilometers, and I think that it is almost meaningless because the number of firewood increases three. After all it is good to run while enjoying the medori.
