戦後の高度経済成長期を迎えるまで、志津地区は純農村地区でした。そのころからの志津地区の自然景観がそのまま残っています。
周辺はすべて都市化されており、周辺地域に唯一残る貴重な自然景観となりました。
様々な貴重な生物の住みかになっています。
地域住民の方のみならず、多くの方に気持ちをリフレッシュするための森林浴等にご利用ください。
佐倉市上志津最寄駅は志津駅から車で5分くらい。
