★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 貞享3（1686）年に造営されたもので和様と唐様の折衷様式。県重文指定です。大仏は以前こちらにあったそうです。中は拝見できませんでした。
 It was built in 1686 and is an eclectic style of Japanese and Tang. It is designated as a prefecture important cultural property. It seems that the Great Buddha was here before. I couldn't see inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧阿弥陀堂と呼ばれている通りに、元々はコチラに会津大仏(阿弥陀仏)が鎮座していたと言う事です。
今は文化財保護の観点もあって頑丈なコンクリート造りの堂に大仏は安置されていますが、コチラにあった姿を想像すると雰囲気があります。
ちなみに「千佛堂」と言う名称ですが、現在、お堂の扉は固く閉ざされており、中の様子が全く分かりません。
ちなみに山門と同様に千佛堂は福島県の重要文化財に指定されています。歴史を感じさせる建物です。
It is said that the Aizu Great Buddha (Amidado Buddha) was originally enshrined here on the street called the former Amida-do.
Nowadays, the Great Buddha is enshrined in a sturdy concrete hall from the viewpoint of protecting cultural properties, but if you imagine the appearance here, it has an atmosphere.
By the way, the name is "Senbutsudo", but at present, the door of the temple is tightly closed, and you can't see what's inside.
By the way, like Sanmon, Senbodo is designated as an important cultural property of Fukushima Prefecture. It is a building that makes you feel the history.
