★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鳥取県と岡山県をまたぐ人形峠付近に点在する小鴨鉱山や十二川鉱床等多数の鉱山を総称して人形峠鉱山と呼んだそうです
1955年11月12日にウラン鉱を含む通称人形石と呼ばれる鉱床の露頭が発見されウランの採掘や精練が行われ、磁鉄鉱、黄鉄鉱、褐鉄鉱、石膏等も合わせて採掘されたそうで、採石場やズリ山、ガレ場があちこちにあります
いつ頃閉山になったのか分かりませんがウラン鉱は放射線を含む為、作業員の健康被害や自然環境への悪影響があったそうです
場所により立入禁止の看板やバリケード、フェンス等がしてありますので安易に侵入しない方が良いと思いますよ
採掘された鉱石や残土、沈殿池から流れた水等が未だに除染されず放置されているかもしれません
